Ameer: Shaikh Shafayat Mohamed
He is the Principal of Darul Uloom Institute in South Florida. The Founder and Editor of the Al-Hikmat Monthly Magazine. The founder of GMSYC Center in Trinidad West Indies and Founder of The Islamic Home for Children in Trinidad. Shaikh Shafayat is a Former president of the Interfaith Council of South Florida.
Chairman: Abzal Hosein
He is a businessman in the retail import and export business. He is the president of Ashraf’s Halaal Meat Center. He is married with two children and has been very active in community services for more than twenty-five years. Abzal hosted Masjid Hijrah for approximately three years at his residence. He has not only been very active in sports but is also known as an experienced promoter of public events. He is presently a member of the Darul Uloom Shura Council.
Secretary: Shahaabuddeen Khan
He is a member of the Florida Bar, Professor Khan has practiced as a litigation attorney with the law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A. (Fort Lauderdale), primarily in the areas of labor and employment, commercial contract disputes, construction litigation, and landlord/tenant. Professor Khan joined the Law Center’s Critical Skills Program in June 2005 where he teaches Elements of Legal Analysis (ELA) and some components of Advanced Legal Analysis (ALA).
Treasurer: Wahid Mohammed
He is best known as a businessman who enjoy’s being in the Business of importing / exporting goods for more than 20 years. He still finds time first for his religion, family & sports. As a youth he was successful in being one of the only person to be selected by his school in both cricket and football teams.

Purpose & Objective:
Al-Hamdulillaah, AHOME has been registered as a non-profit organization to carry out the commands of Allaah in helping the orphans, the poor, the needy and the elderly in the community.
Extravagance In Masaajid
In the USA today, we see many Muslims spending money in unnecessary Masjid expansion and extravagance. On the other hand there are thousands of poor people who are in need and have no one to turn to for help or advise. AHOME has been established to provide professional and financial assistance to those who are in need and to also help prevent families from becoming homeless Inshaa Allaah.
