Once more the time has come when millions of Muslims throughout the world would be engaged in extra spiritual and physical activities throughout the Holy Month of Ramadhan. May Allaah accept our pray, charity and fasting in this very blessed month. May Allaah bless us for all our good deeds in this Holy Month. I pray that Allaah guides us to continue obeying the laws of the Qur'aan after the month of Ramadhan comes to an end Inshaa Allaah.
In addition to fasting and listening to the Holy Qur'aan in the month of Ramadhan, it would also be very beneficial and strongly recommended  if we would devote some time towards understanding the Qur'aan. When Allaah says,  the Qur'aan is a guide for all human beings (chapter 2  verse 18),  it is important that we make all efforts to understand how we should apply the Qur'aan as a guide.
Our daily activities should be scheduled based on the guidelines from the Holy Qurâaan. That is to say, our family life, our business, our fun and sport should all be within the boundaries laid down by the Qurâaan.
While listening to the Qurâaan is virtuous in Taraaweeh, it would be  more virtuous to design our daily routine  according to the Qur'aanic teachings. After making the necessary efforts to accomplish this mission of life, it would then be our responsibility to spread the message of the Quraan, so that the world would also benefit from the wisdom, the cure and the blessings from the Holy Qur'aan - the guide for  mankind.
