People with jealousy and envy will continue to think evil,
unless they receive true guidance from God. However, ignorant people could be
educated if they choose to learn. Therefore, it is the duty of every Muslim to
spread the true Message of the Qur’aan to all human beings, so they would have a
better understanding of the Holy Qur’aan, Islam and human beings. In chapter 34
verse 28 Allaah says, “We did not send thee Muhammad, except as a universal
Messenger.” This verse confirms that the Qur’aan was revealed as a Message to
all human beings. Which automatically means that it is the duty of every Muslim
to spread the Message to all human beings. It is very sad to see most Muslims
today, busy praying for their worldly gains, as apposed to praying for Allaah’s
pleasure and spending their wealth and time to spread the Message of Al Qur’aan.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was sent as a Warner to the world
(Al-Qur’aan 25:1). Through his own personal efforts, the Prophet (SAW) conveyed
the Message of Al - Qur’aan to the world . After the Prophet (SAW), it is his
followers who are supposed to continue the duty of spreading the message of
Al-Qur’aan.
The Qur’aan is a warning from Allaah. It was not sent down as
any ordinary book to remain on a bookshelf. In fact, it is an essential duty
that the message of the Qur’aan be spread continuously to people throughout the
world. The followers of the Prophet (SAW) have to become that agency, that
instrument, by means of which the Message of the Qur’aan reaches all of
humanity.
In this regard, the followers, and especially those with the wealth
and knowledge, have to strive to the utmost to prove that they are completely
and absolutely devoted on conveying the divine message to the people for their
guidance. This would help guide ignorant Muslims to be better Islamic examples
and it would guide Non - Muslims to better understand the Qur’aan, Islam and
Muslims. This would minimize the hate crimes between Muslims and Non-Muslims in
the world today, making the world a more peaceful and happy place to live,
Inshaa Allaah.
Thousands of people die every day without knowing the truth
-for the simple reason that no one has ever presented the Message of Al-Qur’aan
to them. They are thus deprived of the opportunity to ensure the success of
their lives in the hereafter. Therefore the essential responsibility of Muslims
is to work and spend whole heartedly to spread the Message of Al Qur’aan.
