Within recent years schools, colleges and universities have started
becoming a place of fear, where students are killing students.
I need not refer to previous incidents where students have stabbed
and attacked one another with knives and other weapons.
The recent massacre at Virginia Tech., was the worst of them all,
where 32 students were killed by a student. It is not surprising
anymore to hear that there is a fight, killing or a bomb threat at a
school, college or university.
Already, some schools, colleges and universities are
breathing grounds for nakedness and fornication with condoms
readily available in the restrooms. Drugs and alcohol have become
a style for some students. Therefore readers, with the trend of
bomb threats and killings in schools, colleges and universities,
it is incumbent on our students to get God in their lives before
they become victims of the crime that
prevails in the world today.
While it is very unfortunate to see Muslim students refusing
to join and participate in the MSA's and MSO's
religious activities. It would even be more unfortunate for such
students, if they were to be victims of school crime, and have to
leave the world without God in their life.
One wonders how many more murders and crimes we are waiting
for, before parents and teachers encourage students to be God
conscious while studying or obtaining a worldly career. It is very
hypocritical to see that the same administration that discourages
the teaching of God to living students, happens to be the same
administration that are happy to have Interfaith / memorial services
for dead students
